Ricardo Garcia is an entrepreneur, innovation strategist, and ecosystem builder with more than two decades of experience founding and scaling ventures across technology, healthcare, life sciences, and the nonprofit sector. Throughout his career, he has brought together entrepreneurs, investors, governments, academic institutions, healthcare systems, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation and create long-term economic and societal impact.

In 2013, Ricardo founded the Richi Foundation, a Boston-based nonprofit that has evolved into a recognized innovation platform with a proven ability to convene stakeholders and execute cross-sector initiatives across healthcare, entrepreneurship, academia, investment, and public institutions. Under his leadership, the Foundation has established long-standing relationships across venture capital, industry, academia, healthcare, and government, becoming a trusted bridge between international innovation ecosystems and Boston.

Among the Foundation's flagship initiatives is Richi Lifesciences, an internationally recognized platform that has supported more than 150 life sciences companies from over 20 countries in building meaningful relationships and expanding into the Boston innovation ecosystem. Through this work, Ricardo has developed long-term partnerships with governments, economic development agencies, research institutions, investors, and industry leaders, playing a leading role in strengthening the relationship between Spain and the Boston innovation ecosystem and helping establish the institutional relationships and strategic framework that led to the creation of the Spain-US Biotech Fund.

Ricardo is also Co-Founder and CEO of Oncoheroes Biosciences, a Boston-based biotechnology company and the first exclusively dedicated to developing new therapies for pediatric cancer.

As General Partner of the Spain-US Biotech Fund, Ricardo leads the Fund's institutional strategy, government engagement, and ecosystem development. He works closely with governments, investors, and innovation leaders to strengthen the strategic partnership among Spain, Boston, and Massachusetts while fostering cross-border collaboration and long-term value creation across the biotechnology ecosystems of both regions.
